Les Beyer, Auctioneer

Les and Ginny Beyer, married 1974, have been antiques collectors since, circa 1970.

Les worked as an antiques restorer and furniture mechanic for over 20 years. His clients included individuals, retail outlets and small museums all over New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. He began his association with the auction business in 2002 and is a licensed Pennsylvania Auctioneer and member of the Pennsylvania Auctioneer Association (Lehigh Valley Chapter President 2020-23). Les is currently an Auctioneering Certification Instructor for the Reading Area Community College, one of only 3 programs in the Commonwealth qualified to prepare students to take their State Board Examination and become auctioneers. Ginny has an extensive background in bookkeeping and customer service. She has worked in the clothing and textile industry with an excellent knowledge of textiles, both antique and reproduction. She is also a hand spinner and weaver. She has given many demonstrations of spinning wool into yarn in NY, NJ & PA. Ginny is well known in the region as an expert auction clerk. In addition, she is Secretary for the Lehigh Valley Chapter Auxillary of the Pennsylvania Auctioneer Association.
